I am currently in Remote area in Tokyo and the phone service is very poor here, I'm online most of the

time as I am hard of hearing so I prefer we contact each other through E-mails, but if there is need for me to call, I will be glad to do that by using a hearing device. I await your urgent response so we can make

moving arrangements and delivery of payment as soon as possible.

S-C-A-M.....This is a re-shipping scam...they ship you stolen computers...you fix them and send them to a diffrent address and they pay you for fixing and sending them.....alot of people have gotten into serious trouble for taking part in this scam...it was on the NBC nightly news...........
Yes it is fake action aid is a poverty elimination charity not computer fixers. See the site yourself: http://www.actionaid.org/Is this a scammer? What do you think?
I believe its not a scam from how the email is written, if they ask u for credit card info, definetly a scamIs this a scammer? What do you think?
Get a ref from the BBB. It seems like a scam
It's definitely a reshipping scam - they sent my brother the same thing. As the post above says, they buy used computers on Ebay/Craigslist with hacked paypal accounts or counterfeit checks/money orders, send them to you to "repair" then ask you to reship to another person. You are being used to fence stolen merchandise and YOU are the one who will be arrested when the police find out the computers were sent to YOUR home. You are looking at 5-10 years in prison if you agree to this because you will get caught

Oh, and you will never get paid for fixing the computers anyway. You'll do your "job" then not get paid. When you finally contact Actionaid to ask where your money is, they tell you that there is no such person working there, they would never ask a stranger to fix computers as they have their own IT department, and that you have been scammed

There is NO remote area of Tokyo with no phone service - he is full of crap. You can be on the top of Mt Fuji and still get perfect phone signals

I'm sure if you call the real Actionaid on the number on their website they will confirm that a scammer is falsely using their name
