Thanks for your reply........I am willing to offer you an amount of $950 including packing materials without you paying for any shipping charges cos i already have an account with FedEx.

I would be glad to make a fast payment with the following payment option :

By sending you a United States Postal Money Order through my (USPS) account.

Kindly get back to me with your full name , street address , City , State , Zip-Code , private email address and likewise your phone # .

I need the above requirements as soon as possible so that i can Proceed with payment and the Process on how to receive the payment via USPS and as well finalize payment immediately.Looking forward in doing business with you.

This is the email back on the computer I am selling for $600. Why would he offer $950? Should I accept? Is this deal a safe one?
I don't think you should! Money orders can very easily be counterfeited! You should be very wary of anyone who offers to pay so much over the price, and even more so if they are paying by money order, since by money order there is no way to track them down! Be careful! Don't do it!
It is a scam.

He will probably ask you to send the overage back to him via wire. In a couple of weeks, you will be notified that original check he sent you was fake.....but this will be after you send the computer and "overage".

Run Away!Is this deal a safe one?
Not unless you want to get scammed. This "deal" has red flags all over it!Is this deal a safe one?
SCAM, holy crap big scam.

This is an old one that usually uses western union not USPS.

If he has a fedex account, have him send you money for $600 along with his fedex account number. With that number you can ship freight collect. Something my business does all the time.
quickly delete that email and DO NOT RESPOND. this is a common known scam that reaches alot of people who post ads. noone in their right mind will offer hundreds over the asking price of any object anytime anywhere.money orders are not reccomended by anyone. not ebay, not craigslist, not local papers NOONE reccommends accepting money orders from people you do not know . they can be easily forged to the point that a bank may not recognize it immediately and by then you computer is gone and you get nothing as the bank will reverse that deposit as soon as they figure it out.

i don't need to remind you but....

if it sounds to good to be true.........
