Basic housing allowance for army reserves?

Hooah! I am getting deployed from the reserves to go to the sandbox in middle east.

I know the basic housing allowannce goes by the zip code but still I wonder how much should I out in the lease agrrement to show to the army.I pay 400 a month for my room in ny city but based on what I have heard from my NCOs that I will get paid much more for hosuing allowance cause I live in the city like New york.

But I dont want to take risk by putting 400 an actually getting paid 400.

Should I put more in the paper to show to the army when doing SRP.It wont be a problem from my landlord's side.I dont think it wont be a fraud either since the army decides how much to pay by looking at my zip code.

SO final question should I put 400 or more or it does not matter at all?

Also will I get a little more since I have a dependent?

Thanks in advanceBasic housing allowance for army reserves?
I stopped reading your question because it got redundant. Put down whatever you are actually paying because you have to submit your lease agreement. If you are living below the level the Army is paying you each month, that is just money in your pocket.

I say again, how much you pay for your lease DOES NOT MATTER, it is strictly by rank, zip code, w or w/o dependants.Basic housing allowance for army reserves?
They PAY you. They don't REIMBURSE you.

The only reason they want to have a copy of the mortgage or lease is to PROOVE where you live. They don't care what amount you pay. You will receive the full BAH. You could even cancel your lease, put your stuff in storage and make some money.Basic housing allowance for army reserves?
you must produce the original lease. you will be paid what the going rate is regardless of what the lease says.
