I had sent a package to the wrong zip code recently and wanted to know if the person will still receive it?

I had sent the package with a delivery confirmation receipt to keep track of the package. The zip code is off by one number and the zip code I had written is very close to where it needs to go. There is not another same exact address either. The packages is going to a city though.Will the package be returned to me? i've completely left zips off before and the packages were received. i've also received packages where the city or zip was incorrect. theres always a possibility you could get it back it depends on how good your local post office is and of course whether there is the same street address in the other city which is unlikely but could happen. once its sorted they'll have to figure out the mistake which they typically do but because of it it it will probably take longer but more than likely it will be delivered.
