Those who live in California might be interested to know that I just found out about the "Megan's Law" website at http://www.meganslaw.ca.gov/ which has a searchable database of registered sex offenders in California. It is searchable by name, city, zip code, address, etc.
It turns out I actually went to high school (and junior high, for that matter) with a person who is now on the list.

Are you grooming yourself to be the next vigilante? That would be my worry with you! Maybe your previous schoolmates will be your first victims? Do you even know what their charges are? Did they get caught urinating in public? Maybe a Romeo/Juliet charge? For that matter, do you even know if they are really guilty? And what do you plan to do now? Harrass them? Taunt them? Why did you go the Registry? You didn't give a reason why you searched it at all. Which gives people the idea that you had no good reason to do it at all.
