After a purchase on a website i put down the correct zip code but wrong state. will i still get the package?

i accidentally put down the wrong state for the address. i put down the correct street, city and zip code, but accidentally listed the address located in alabama rather than california. will the package still get here safely? it was shipped by ups.After a purchase on a website i put down the correct zip code but wrong state. will i still get the package?
Generally, UPS goes by ZIP code for state and city, and then narrows it down by street address - you can send mail without a state, and it will arrive at the destination if you provide a ZIP code; hopefully your package will arrive.
