My yahoo home page has suddenly started displaying a city that's over 1,000 miles away as my ''home page"! I've tried using the drop-down menu and typing in my correct city, and then checking the 'make this my default location' box, but it still goes right back the the wrong city! I've even tried selecting my city by 'zip code,' as opposed to the city's name. My next step is to select an different home page host. I like yahoo, so I wish someone knows how to correct this annoying problem!My yahoo home page is screwed up!?
Go here: http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/p鈥?/a> Click "Preferences, then, "My Account", after which you'll be signing in again.
Once on your account page. Click the first "Edit" for your Member Information. Here, you'll change your location from whatever city you have, to the correct city. Pluus, you're Preferred Content will be Yahoo! US, once done, click finished.
This will bring you to the front page, where you'll click "Finished" again. Restart your computer and you're all set.
