Isit true that once a puppy has a USDA and the AKC license documents, they don't need to go through qurantine?

As I am thinking of purchasing a puppy online, i have an offer (actually, i have afew). These supplier has replied this "Oh yes i will have to ship the puppy to you that will take just 8-9 hours flight to get to you at your door step. She will not be quarantine because i have all her documents like the USDA and the AKC licensed. When you pay the 380$, i will book her a flight, when i have done with the flight booking, i will then mail you her full flight informations so that you will know when she is coming to you at your home so that you will be home for pick up upon arrival. If that is okay by you then you will have to provide me with your address as full names, state, city, zip code, nearest air port and phone number so that i will use the address to book a flight and also change her documents from my name to yours.I wait to read from you." Reliable? thats the question ..Isit true that once a puppy has a USDA and the AKC license documents, they don't need to go through qurantine?
Don't you dare even think about doing this. It is a scam. They'll get all your money and you will get nothing.

If you want to look at pups on-line that is fine. But when you want to actually purchase the pup, please go in person and check things for yourself. People have a way of telling others what they want to hear, not what the truth may be.

Do not give these people any of your personal information.
Hi Rachael

There are reputable breeders that ship, but This Is Not One!!!!

This is a popular scam!!!!

You will end up out the money, and no dog!

If you are in the states, and cannot find a good breeder in your area, send me an e-mail, and I will be happy to help you locate one.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

This is a wellknown scam - send your money %26amp; you'll never hear another thing - your "puppy" doesn't exist!!

NEVER buy a puppy online. No reputable breeder would send a puppy off to a stranger they know nothing about.

Do some research and only buy from a reputable breeder.Isit true that once a puppy has a USDA and the AKC license documents, they don't need to go through qurantine?
Quick. Run the other way. This has scam written all over it. If you do get a dog, it probably won't be the healthy one you've seen a pic of, but a scrawny poorly bred puppy.

Never buy a dog from a breeder if you can't visit them personally!

Good luck in finding a new dog!
Bad, broken english. Sounds like a scam. If the pup isn't from the US I don't see how it's been cleared with the USDA much less AKC.
But what if the dog IS from the US, and what if Rachel lives overseas and not from the US ?
Shipping within the US doesn't require quarantine. Shipping within the US requires a vet clearance generally 2 days before travel, but it doesn't need USDA or AKC documents. You can certainly ship a mixed dog (unable to register with the AKC).

Is the dog + flight $380? For even a tiny dog + the crate, shipping is at least $250US.

Unless she is also contacting a delivery service to take the dog from the airport to your house, most of the time, a shipped dog is picked up by the person themselves in the cargo hold.

This sounds like a scam......
